Mini Grilled Pizzas

Mimi Grilled Pizzas

Summer is right around the corner so it's time to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and fire up the grill! Pizzas on the grill are much easier than you might imagine. Best part? They're best made in "mini" or personal size which makes customizing your pizzas for your party guests a breeze!

Spread out fresh toppings in mini bowls and containers to let your friends and family build their perfect pizza. They're ready in minutes so they also make fabulously tasty appetizers.

Mini Grilled Pizzas ingrediants


  • 1 recipe homemade or i can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 Vidalia onions, chopped
  • 3 links Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 fresh mango, sliced
  • 1 Avocado from Mexico, cubed
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Gourmet Garden Basil
  • 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Garlic


1. In a skillet on medium heat (or grill), cook Italian Sausage links until cooked through. Slice in thin rounds and toss with Gourmet Garden basil and garlic. Set aside.

2. Roll out your pizza dough (use flour if sticky). Use a large cutter (glass or can will work too) to cut out 4-5 mini pizzas. Brush each side with olive oil and a sprinkle of flour.

3. Heat grill to medium and place dough on the grill. It will be hard to keep them in perfect circular shape so not to worry if they take on their own shape.

4. Grill for 4 minutes and flip over. Once flipped, spread pizza sauce to the edges of each pizza. Top with cheese, sliced sausage, mango, and onions. Close grill and cook for additional 5-7 minutes until cheese melted.

5. Remove from grill and top with avocado.  Serve + enjoy!

Create a dessert style pizza with puff pastry or sugar cookie dough. Then top it with mangos, cherries, watermelon, or your other favorite fruits for a sweet ending to your BBQ parties!
